The Happo Kotatsu Café is set to open on 26th December, nestled 1,200 meters up in the Kitaone Kogen Highland, surrounded by the quiet beauty of snow-covered mountains. Here, the charm of traditional kotatsu tables meets the breathtaking views of Hakuba’s iconic Three Peaks, creating the perfect place for you. Settle in, sip on a hot cup of coffee, and let the peaceful winter landscape wash over you — where the stillness of nature and the comfort of Japanese tradition come together in perfect harmony.

★On the opening day—December 26th, we will be offering a mandarin orange and Kotatsu pairing, available on a first-come, first-served basis. In addition, our Happo Original Drip Coffee, which can be purchased on December 1st, will also be served.

Weekend Exclusive: HAPPO KOTASTU CAFE

On weekends, the enchanting Hapo Kotatsu Café opens just in front of the terrace, enjoy a takeout menu in a cozy kotatsu, the perfect spot to relax and warm up. Each weekend, we’ll be serving up comforting winter classics like oshiruko (sweet red bean soup) and hot drinks, available in limited quantities starting at 11:00 AM — only while supplies last! It’s the ultimate way to embrace Japan’s winter flavors in the most cozy setting.

■ Access: About 10 minutes by free shuttle bus from “Hakuba Happo Bus Terminal”, Alight at the “Happo Sakka Slope” stop, and take the “Kitaone Quad Lift” for a scenic 10-minute ride up.

The Kitaone Quad Lift, situated on the Kitaone Ridge of Happo-One, is an ideal choice, not only for winter sports but also for experiencing the Hakuba’s beautiful geographical features.
