May 24th “Sake Brewing Project” Rice Planting Tour 2025

Sake Brewing Project – Rice Planting Tour
Step Into the World of Japanese Sake – And Brew Your Own in Happo.

Launched in 2017, the Hakuba Happo Kurobishi Sake project invites locals and visitors alike to experience the full journey of sake-making.
Each year, participants roll up their sleeves to plant sake rice in the spring, harvest it in the fall, and celebrate the final brew in winter. It’s more than just making sake - it’s about connecting with Japan’s traditional culture and being part of something truly special.

The theme: YOU MAKE HAPPO SAKE! It’s not just made in Happo. It’s made with you.
